Oh sweatiness

I've just come back from a run. I found out that the pool will be closed all week (there's some kind of mechanical problem) so I'll just be running. Here's the recap:

Friday, 7/30 - 1,200 yd workout in the pool. I did a timed 800 and finished in 15:10 (a personal best, though the last time I did a timed 800 I had bowling ball Alex bouncing around in my vicera). I'm psyched about the time. I don't know if I can replicate it the open water though!

Tuesday 8/3/10 34 minute run (with a couple little sprints at the end). I'm not sure how far I went, probably close to 4 miles but I don't know. I ran for about a mile on grass which always scares me because I worry about twisting my ankle. I did it deliberately today to strengthen my ankles in preparation for the tri (in hopes of combating hte post-bike wobbly leg syndrome).

  1. Yay! I'm sorry about the pool. I hope you enjoy your running this week! Kip got a job as an English teacher in a private school (now he's going to be trained for a month and a half and it's likely that they'll give him a job when he concludes the training). This means that our training sessions might change... we'll see!
