Here's today's track workout:
.5 mile warm-up/cool down (running to and from the track)
400 yd jog
4 x 400 yd with 200 yd rest - I did the first 3 at a brisk pace, speeding up in the last 100 yds. On the last one I decided to try to do it at a race pace ('course I haven't done a 400 in a race since highschool) and I pushed myself (I had to walk for a while after that one).
400 yd jog
1 x 800 yd (brisk, non-race pace - those long intervals are tough)
400 yd jog
And, yeah, the hand is feeling better!! Yay! I still need to be careful but it's definitely improving steadily.

You rock, woman! I haven't done anything since Sunday. Felt kind of blah so I was using the hot weather as an excuse to punk out. I have sworn a solemn oath to go swimming tomorrow (well, not really, but that's what I'm planning). Papas is out of commission for now (in addition to the wrist, his back has been spasming all week), but when he feels better we'll be pounding the pavement together.
