The Lost Week(end)

So, I haven't done diddly-squat this week in regards to training. I have a valid excuse though! I really have been feeling unwell the past few days with something that I think I passed on to the husband. It's always nice to share! I have high hopes for the weekend-I plan to go do a nice long run on Saturday and perhaps some intervals on Sunday. Then, it's back to the pool next week. As I mentioned in a previous post, I signed up for swimming lessons at the Y so I can actually create some structured workouts. Lessons start on 11/03. That's about it for now- kudos to Pats for being a badass! Hills--woohoooo! I bow to thee, oh speedy one!

  1. I'm jealous about the swimming lessons. In Tucson I went to a couple organized swim workouts (with that tri training club) and part of each workout focused on form - I never realized how bad my form was (and still is). Anyway, let me now how it goes. That's great. Good luck on the weekend work outs. I'm already sore from those hills. I had my eye on the prize (surviving the tough mudder) and I pushed hard. Now my pain receptors are pushing back.

  2. And I'm jealous of you both! We'll leave the swimming for next summer, though... the university pool here is outdoors but it doesn't look it's heated and it started to be chillier here. Anyway, good luck with lessons! I went to some lesson in Tucson and I liked them, although lessons have been for me a way to be organized in my swimming workouts. None of my instructures in the past has focussed too much on form, which sucks. I guess I'll write my own entry :)
